You don’t need to make a booking, you’re welcome to arrive at a time that suits you. If there is a queue, please be assured that our team will do everything possible to make your wait comfortable and ensure you’re seated as quickly as possible.
If you or anyone in your group has a disability, including hidden disabilities, additional support needs or difficulty standing for extended periods — please speak to a member of staff when you arrive we’ll be happy to provide a seat while you wait and can offer a quieter space if that would be more suitable.
We also recommend visiting during quieter times, such as weekday mornings before 10.30am or late afternoons from 2.30pm, when the tearooms tend to be less busy and waiting times are typically shorter.

Our team will present you with a lavish selection of dainty sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible miniature cakes and scones. All accompanied by our resident pianist. Our Spindler Gallery is located on the lower ground floor in Bettys Harrogate, you can enjoy brunch, lunch, or a traditional afternoon tea. With its warm wood detailing, soft lighting, and welcoming atmosphere, it is the perfect place to slow down, savour something delicious and enjoy the charm of Bettys. Our iconic room takes its name from the artwork displayed, crafted by the world-renowned Spindler family from Alsace, France. As far as we are aware, the Spindler Gallery houses the largest collection of Spindler works anywhere in the world.
