The menus are identical but the history of each of these rooms is very different!
When the Belmont Room was first designed in the 1930s, its decor was inspired by the Queen Elizabeth luxury liner which our founder, Frederick Belmont, joined for its maiden crossing to New York.
The Imperial Room gets its name from the Café Imperial - this was the original name for the premises when it was a Taylors café. Bettys bought Taylors in the 1960s and moved into the current building from the site of the original (and first) Bettys on Cambridge Crescent.
